The agreement gives onSport.io the rights to manage all commercial elements of the platform including sale and licence of source code, licence for fee and licence/ revenue share models.

Unibet extends relationship with onSport.io

Following a successful partnership in 2017/18 season culminating with Champions League final. Kindred Group PLC (KINDSDB.SE) have signed onSport.io ahead of the start of the 2018/19 season to provide Unibet with a further suite of engagement predictor games.

Games will roll out across the majority of Unibet’s key markets at the start of the new domestic football season and will continue with the group stages of Champions League from September.

OnSport.io’s predictor games saw in excess of 2m predictions made across the semi-finals and final of the Champions League final with 12 users correctly predicting the perfect first goal-scorer and time of first goal combination in the final. The lucky 12 shared a €50,000 jackpot prize.

The agreement between onSport.io and Revenue Engineers B.V builds upon several years of collaboration between the companies to develop tools and solutions for international markets that are about to, or have already, implemented gaming or gambling regulation.

For jointly targeted clients, onSport.io will provide products from their extensive format library including short form, in-play mobile games and data-rich match centres for sports. Revenue Engineers will inter alia provide performance based online marketing expertise and solutions from their suite of media management tools.

ESPN World Cup Predictor surpasses 30m predictions made in record time

ESPN, the global leader in sports coverage, appointed onSport.io to produce a bespoke World Cup Predictor game in three languages and integrated across 15 markets including, USA, Brazil, Australia and UK.

Launched ahead of the start of Russia’s opening match against Saudi Arabia, ESPN’s devoted fans have been making predictions on group winners, top goalscorers and the correct score of every match of the tournament.

Now onSport are excited to announce, that with 2 hours to go until Brazil kick off against Serbia, in their Group E decider, the total number of predictions made on the onSport platform has exceeded 30m.

With just over two weeks left of the tournament levels of user engagement are extraordinarily high and we expect the number to continue to grow.

As the group stages are drawing to a close onSport are releasing some of the data relating to predictions made for the overall tournament winner: 35% of users tipped Brazil, 23% nominated Germany and 12% opted for Argentina.

For the Golden Boot overall prediction 29% chose the Brazilian forward Neymar Jr and 20% picked the Argentine, Lionel Messi.

Unibet is part of the Kindred Group, one of the largest online gambling companies in the world. Our programme of activity focused on European football, across 11 of their European markets and in 10 different languages.


Integrations with the Unibet wallet made the user experience relevant and contextual and collaboration with the Unibet Design team ensured the games, which were available on website, tablet and via native apps, adhered to all brand guidelines.


‘Predict6’ was deployed through the group stages of the Champions League, with participation numbers increasing round by round. ‘U-Goal’, a format targeted at individual matches, was used for key knockout fixtures and peaked with a 130% of target audience participating for the Final.


World Cup

ESPN wanted to engage their worldwide audience for the 2018 World Cup. Working with our US colleagues we designed a format that would encourage user participation both before and during the tournament.


FC Predictor, available in 3 different languages and 15 different ESPN markets, allowed users to make selections on every single game of the tournament, as well as record their overall predictions for group winners and tournament winners.


The numbers were staggering; over 39.5 million predictions were made and users spent in excess of 25 million minutes on the site. FC Predictor succeeded on a global basis in driving user sign ups, with particular note to Brazil where 81% of players were new to ESPN.


Cricket Games

Following a competitive tender process, we were asked to deliver a suite of games for the ICC Champions Trophy and the Women’s World Cup. For both tournaments, the ICC wanted a solution that spanned the length of the tournament as well as daily games allowing users to engage with every single fixture.


Working with cricket’s official governing body gave us access to official imagery, player profiles and complete player statistics, to provide an immersive game for cricket fans from all over the world.


With over 100,000 entries across the games, users benefitted from broadcast integration with the global television feed. As a bit of fun we created a dedicated private league for all of the TV commentators to compete against each other which was referenced in broadcast.

Through Dawri Plus, STC (Saudi Telecom Company) activates its digital sports rights with an innovative OTT solution tailored around the passion of its customers for football. The platform enables customers to watch games while enjoying an immersive second screen experience with inbuilt fantasy gaming and social media interactivity.


Now in our 5th year of partnership with Dawri Plus, we have seen the gaming platform grow by a staggering factor of 30 from the tens of thousands of users first registered in 2013-14. We have continued to add game formats, so that there is a full range of offerings to suit both the most casual supporters as well as diehard fans.



188BET approached us with an ambition to acquire new users through a nursery free-to-play game. The main focus was the Brazilian market, and we delivered a Predictor format that challenged players knowledge across South American football.


Over the course of three years, player numbers increased dramatically, the product was broadcast integrated and the migration to mobile usage exceptional. From an initial base of 3,000 users, the product delivered an engaged audience of 115,000 unique players in its 2017/18 run.
